There has been an ongoing investigation into the Team Canada World Junior team from 2018. While there haven't been many details released to this point on who was involved in the incident being investigated, we now have a massive update.
Today, Rick Westhead announced that five players from the team surrendered themselves to the police to face their charges.
Breaking: Five members of the 2018 world junior hockey team have been told to surrender to London, Ont., police to face charges of s***** a******, The Globe and Mail reports, citing unnamed sources. The Globe reports the players, who have not been charged yet, have been given a set period of time to present themselves at London police headquarters. via @robyndoolittle.
This is a massive update in the investigation, and will likely mean that the players who were involved will be named soon.
