The 1990's were full of interesting first overall draft picks, and one that goes very underrated by many is the 1995 No. 1 overall pick of the Ottawa Senators, Bryan Berard.
Despite being picked by the senators, Berard never played for the team, instead logging 619 games for the Islanders, Maple Leafs, Bruins, Rangers, Blackhawks and Blue Jackets.
Over that time, he tallied a solid 323 points with 500 penalty minutes over those games, but now, he's back in the spotlight for all of the wrong reasons.
It has now been reported that he has recently been arrested following a bar fight in his current home of Newport, Rhode Island, with Newport Daily News reporting a video that shows Berard and another man scrapping following a confrontation.
Berard has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, with a court date set for August 9th, but he has stated this was a misunderstanding and expects all of the charges against him to be dropped.
