Disturbing and sad news emerges regarding Matthew Gaudreau's wife

In the days after the passing of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau a larger sad story has emerged involving Matthew Gaudreau's family and his wife Madeline.
This weekend has been an incredibly sad one in the hockey world. Hockey stars Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau passed away earlier this weekend after being involved in a traffic accident including an intoxicated driver named Sean Higgins.
Since the announcement of the passing of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau the hockey community has come together to mourn the loss, they have also come together in support of the Gaudreau family. In the process of grief and support for the Gaudreau family, it was revealed that Madeline Gaudreau the wife of Matthew Gaudreau is pregnant and is due 4 months from now.
Since learning of the upcoming addition to the Gaudreau family the hockey community has come together to support the family. A GoFundMe was started and has been flooded with donations to be given to Madeline Gaudreau and the family's unborn son Tripp.
This tragedy will be one that continues within the NHL and the larger hockey world for the entire 2024-25 NHL season. Hopefully, the generosity of the hockey community can bring some good to an absolutely terrible situation.
