Since he became the NHL commissioner in 1993, Gary Bettman has made multiple bad decisions. In addition to the two player lockouts in 2004-05 and 2012-13, he signed a few contracts that cost the League a lot of money. After BioSteel, which was the NHL's official drink partner for two years before closing shop, the fate of the Diamond Sports Group, which holds the broadcasting rights to nine NHL teams, will be determined on September 3rd after more than a year under bankruptcy protection.

Gary Bettman is once again hurting the League and its fans with his bad decision-making. After so many signs that a change is needed in the commissioner's chair, let's hope that this one will be enough to finally replace him.
