In a recent game, Braden Knapp was involved in an incident. A major scrum emerged at the center of the ice and Knapp shot the puck towards it.
Check out the video:

Knapp was ejected from the game and the League announced that he would serve a one-year suspension for "violent assault on an official". However, no official was hit by the puck.
"The refs issued a disqualification penalty for 'violent assault of an official' although all indications given to the Current at this time have been that no official was hit." - Nantucket Current

Knapp is the best player in his team and has filed an appeal against his suspension. He maintains that he wanted to take attention away from the scrum and didn't want to hurt anyone.
Do you think he deserves a one-year suspension?
