It appears that Sean Higgins will be remaining behind bars for at least another month, as he is set to return to court on October 15th and won't have any bond set.

Two weeks following the tragic death of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau at the hands of a drunk driver from a cycling accident, an update on Sean Higgins' situation has finally arrived. Facing the possibility of decades behind bars, Higgins appeared in court this morning where the judge ruled he'll stay in custody without bail until his next hearing on October 15th.
According to police, Higgins told them he drank "five or six beers" before driving on Aug. 29th, the night of the collision. Based on the absolute outrage surrounding the case, one can predict that Higgins will do time, all but close to the maximum.
Their deaths sent shockwaves into the sports world well beyond hockey, with tributes pouring in from the NFL and MLB, among others, including WWE. The entire community is mourning their loss.
