Josh Doan, son of Arizona Coyotes Legend Shane Doan, is set to make his NHL debut with the team his father played for.

When you think of legendary players who have played for their relatively new franchise the Arizona Coyotes, you immediately think of one person. That is Shane Doan. Doan is easily one of the greatest Coyotes to ever play in the NHL, playing with the club from 1996 to 2017.
While Doan has moved on from the organization to join the Toronto Maple Leafs as assistant to Brad Treliving, he still has ties to the Arizona Coyotes. Namely, his son Josh Doan. Now, the Coyotes have announced that Josh Doan is set to make his NHL debut with the Coyotes.
The Coyotes have recalled Josh Doan, son of Shane Doan.

The 2021 2nd-round pick is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday. Full circle moment for the Doan family ❤️
This is almost as wholesome as it gets in the NHL, as the whole family will have a full-circle moment when Josh steps foot on the ice wearing the jersey that he saw his father wear for so many years.
Josh Doan currently has 26 goals and 20 assists in the AHL in 62 games. He was drafted by the Coyotes back in 2021 with the 37th overall pick. The lineup change comes after the Coyotes made some shakeups during the trade deadline.
He will assuredly be a fan favourite in Arizona when he steps on the ice tomorrow night.
