Today the Edmonton Oilers made a major decision hiring Stan Bowman as the team's next General Manager and fans are outraged at who made the decision.
The Edmonton Oilers once again have shocked the hockey world by making a controversial decision. This time they have hired Stan Bowman to replace Ken Holland as the General Manager.

Fans enraged over Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid's role in Stan Bowman hiring
In a new interview regarding the hiring of Stan Bowman, Jeff Jackson addressed who was consulted on the hiring. According to Jeff Jackson's comments only ownership and a select few in the front office were consulted with Leon Draisaitl or Connor McDavid not being involved.

The lack of involvement in such publicly popular and talented players like Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in this decision has only made fans even more mad. In the past, the Oilers have made controversial decisions but always involved their stars in the process. This lack of involvement could lead to anarchy if things do not go well next season for the Edmonton Oilers.
