The NHL's partnership with Adidas officially came to an end after the Stanley Cup Finals, and now the moment that many dreaded officially arrived. Fanatics, despite all of their shortcomings somehow took over with the NHL and their jersey manufacturing, and already we are seeing issues, with this gem for newest Nashville Predator
Steven Stamkos surfacing on social media.
In the image, newest Pred Steven Stamkos has his jersey on display, with quality control once again lacking as the jersey clearly has 'Stamko' on the back, missing the last letter of the iconic forwards last name.
This isn't the only criticism they've drawn in 2024, as their takeover with the MLB was lauded as being one of the worst jersey rollouts in sports history, with the jerseys seeing a significant downgrade for fans and players this year.
It's clear that there's still plenty of quality issues with the company, with many believing league's are choosing Fanatics for their cheap product, and now, it's coming back to haunt them. They've been in charge of jersey's in the NHL for less than six months, and already fans are furious with their output, but unfortunately, this is just year one of a 10-year deal.
