Today Mitch Marner has once again shown his commitment to the city of Toronto and the fans as he has hosted yet another charity event for children.

Mitch Marner is a polarizing player within the city of Toronto. Throughout his career with the Maple Leafs, he has been seen as underrated and more recently overrated. This summer many fans wanted Mitch Marner to be traded. However, through a coaching change bringing in Craig Berube Mitch Marner has remained and is excited to work with his new bench boss.
Now months after the move was made Mitch Marner continues to show his support not only for the Toronto Maple Leafs but the city of Toronto as a whole. In a recent post on Instagram Mitch Marner confirmed that his charity the Marner Assist Foundation in conjunction with the Shania Twain Foundation was able to build a local park in the GTA.

The park will allow kids of all ages to enjoy a new experience and have a place to get out and be active. This once again shows Mitch Marner's dedication to giving back and supporting his community. Even when the city of Toronto seems to be turning its back on Mitch Marner he remains a loyal and enthusiastic supporter of the city.
With the NHL season coming up soon it seems Mitch Marner will be a Maple Leaf at least for the 2024-25 season. Despite not having a contract beyond this season it seems Mitch Marner wants to call Toronto home for many seasons to come.
