According to Macklin Celebrin's older brother Aiden, the retired Sedin twins, finished the grouse grind ahead of every Vancouver Canucks prospect.

The Grouse Grind is one of the most notorious trails for NHL hopefuls, becoming a regular part of training for the Vancouver Canucks prospect pool. Though the hike is only 2.5 kilometers, it stretches 800 meters upwards, making this a grueling climb.
"The #GrouseGrind officially opens this #weekend. Located at #GrouseMountain Regional Park in #NorthVancouver, the Grouse Grind is a roughly 2.5-kilometre hike that sees people gain 800 metres of elevation as they make their way to the top."
However, Macklin Celebrin's older brother Aiden Celebrini shared that it was not the young ones who smoked the competition. Despite being twice the age of many of the prospects, former Vancouver Canucks twin duo Daniel and Henrik Sedin flew past the rest of the bunch.
"The Sedin Twins beat the time of every Canucks rookie at the Grouse Grind hiking trail 😱💪"
Though already an impressive feat for the 43-year-olds, this is not out of the ordinary for the Sedin twins. Daniel Sedin pulled off 11 runs in one day last year, making staying ahead of the Vancouver Canucks prospect pool a simple task.
"Canucks legend Daniel Sedin did the Grouse Grind 11 times in one day "
Though their time on the ice is finished, it is clear that the Sedin twins are still elite athletes. It is now a wonder how long it will take for the Vancouver Canucks to pick up prospects who can outrun them. As it looks now, it could be quite some time.
