We Noah guy that's sticking around for a while 😏
The Golden Knights have signed Noah Hanifin to an eight-year contract extension!!!! 🙌
The 27-year old has starred for the Calgary Flames over the past several years, and now he gets the chance to chase a Stanley Cup with the defending Champions.
$7.35 M AAV per season, 8-year deal, Noah Hanifin extends with Vegas Golden Knights
According to Pierre LeBrun, the deal is worth $7.35 million per year, significantly more than he could have got with his former team, and now the NHL Insider has given an in depth look at the deal.
The deal carries him through his age 35 season, with major signing bonuses making up his money in the first four years, before his salary kicks up to $5.7 million for the final year of the deal.
Noah Hanifin's extension with #VGK will see him receive $29.4M in signing bonues across the life of the deal.
It includes a no-trade clause for the first six seasons that becomes a 15-team no-trade for the final two years.
If he continues on his current trajectory, this is a fantastic deal for both parties, and will give a major boost to a blue line that needed to get younger.
