At 5'11" and 181 pounds, Harrison Blaisdell is a 23-year-old left-shooting center forward. He got his start with two seasons in the BCHL with the Chilliwack Chiefs, posting 42 goals and 79 points in 100 games. He also has five years of playing in college at the Universities of North Dakota and New Hampshire, pulling in 11 goals and 14 points in 32 games.
Logan Neaton played one season with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL before his 2018-19 season in the BCHL with the Prince George Spruce Kings, in which he recorded a .914 save percentage in 47 games. The 25-year-old goaltender, now 6'4" and 205 pounds, also has five years playing in college, with 23 games in the Miami Redhawks' 2023-24 season with a .894 save percentage.
However, both of these players will probably not have the chance to showcase their talents with the Winnipeg Jets in the foreseeable future. Neither were offered a contract from the team that drafted them, sending them into free agency.
With no qualifying entry-level contracts, Harrison Blaisdell and Logan Neaton are both UFAs and could sign outside the scope of the Winnipeg Jets and affiliate teams. While it is expected they may appear elsewhere in the ECHL, what will happen next for both players remains in question.
