The Winnipeg Jets confirmed Nino Niederreiter's fate ahead of their upcoming four-game roadtrip.

As the Jets prepare to fly off to Minnesota to play against the Wild, reporter John Lu confirmed that Nino Niederreiter won't travel with the team.
"#NHLJets Niederreiter (leg laceration) will not accompany the team to Minnesota."
Niederreiter got injured last Monday, in a game against the Los Angeles Kings. He is set to miss a week as he recovers from a cut on the back of his leg.
Without him, the Jets still managed to clinch their playoff ticket, last night in a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames.
The Jets added a lot of depth at the trade deadline, and it should be enough to fill in for Nino Niederreiter until he gets back on his feet.
Before he was injured, Niederreiter was going through his biggest slump of the season. Indeed, he failed to score in his last 13 games, since March 8th.
He'll need to regain his confidence quickly as the last stretch of the season has started. Now that the Jets finally have their ticket for the playoffs, they can focus on staying healthy and prepare for the tough challenge ahead.
If the standings don't change before the playoffs, the Jets will face Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the Colorado Avalanche in the first round.
Do you think the Jets could beat the Avs in the first round of the playoffs?
