Brad Marchand has a reputation as a dirty player, having been given the nickname "The Rat" for his nasty his. After accusations of going soft after taking hits this season from rookie players, it seems this Bruins Captain is trying to restore his former glory.
Marchand Lands Brutal Elbow Hit, Could Face Suspension
In today's game between Boston and Los Angeles, Bruins captain Brad Marchand landed an absolutely nasty hit to the head of the Kings' Vitor Arvidsson who was trying to pass him and get out of the neutral zone.

Marchand was not pulled from the game following this incident, but given the brutality of this hit, it is still potentially up for review by the Department of Player Safety. Fans have presently taken to X to express their disapproval of the hit and are expecting a suspension themselves.
