This evening Matt Rempe was challenged to another fight by a notable enforcer on a rival team. This time he once again turned the enforcer down showing he is willing to pick and choose his moments.

Rempe Goes Face To Face With A Rival Enforcer

Early in the Rangers game against the New Jersey Devils, Matt Rempe got into a shoving match with Devils enforcer Kurtis MacDermid. The two got in one another's face before referees separated them.
Not long after MacDermid came out looking for a fight against Rempe. He directly challenged Rempe and got an interesting response.

Once again Matt Rempe did not take the bait and decided against a fight. This is the second time we have seen Rempe show restraint before taking a fight. It is not out of the possibility that he does fight during this game but the consideration for his health is good to see.
