After facing an injury in Edmonton's first playoff game against the Vancouver Canucks, Leon Draisaitl was out of the lineup in Thursday's skate.

Leon Draisaitl is one of the most reliable players in the league. Unfortunately, the center is recovering from an injury he likely received from Tyler Myers during the most recent game against Vancouver.

As a result, Edmonton head coach Kris Knoblauch has announced that Draisaitl is day-to-day, along with his teammate Adam Henrique.
"Knoblauch confirms that Henrique & Draisaitl are «day-to-day.» #Oilers"
However, at today's skate in preparation for game 2 of their series against the Canucks, Leon Draisaitl was absent, nearly confirming the worst for Oilers fans.
"Adam Henrique on the ice. Leon Draisaitl absent."
Although Henrique was there, he was not dressed out as all the other players, meaning he may remain unavailable for the upcoming game.
"No Draisaitl today on ice. Henrique is practicing in normal sweater."
The Canucks are currently leading the series against Edmonton 1-0. With their next game tomorrow night and two key players' availability in question, the Oilers will have to kick into full gear to tie with Vancouver.
